With a crisp chill in the air, nothing warms you better than a bowl of homemade Butternut Squash Soup

In today’s how-to workshop, we’ll show you how to prepare homemade soup by understanding certain steps. Watch as we show you how to layer ingredients to create flavour in your soup. Then we’ll demonstrate how to cook the squash, combine with other ingredients, puree for silky-smoothness and season for a perfectly balanced, well flavoured soup . Everyone attending will get a tasty sample of the food made in class.

About Our How-To Workshops

Our how-to workshops are shorter (45 min -1 hour), more affordable and more focussed than our regular cooking classes. You’ll learn new skills thanks to our interactive demonstrations from OLIVE (all-of-our-instructors). While this is a complimentary workshop we do ask for a small monetary donation. Proceeds from our How-To Workshops will go towards our Soup Sisters Program which supports three local charities in Kitchener-Waterloo – Marillac Place, Anselma House and OneROOF Youth Services
