Once an obscure Italian cookie, now biscotti are common at coffee shops and on cookie plates.
In today’s how-to workshop, we’ll show you how to prepare homemade biscotti by understanding certain steps. Watch as we show you how to make the dough, shape it and bake it. Then we’ll demonstrate how to cut a biscotti log, bake its second time and drizzle or dip with chocolate for perfectly crunchy cookies that don’t fall apart when you bite into them. Everyone attending will get a tasty sample of the food made in class.
About Our How-To Workshops
Our how-to workshops are shorter (45 min -1 hour), more affordable and more focussed than our regular cooking classes. You’ll learn new skills thanks to our interactive demonstrations from OLIVE (all-of-our-instructors). Proceeds from our How-To Workshops will go towards our Soup Sisters Program which supports three local charities in Kitchener-Waterloo – Marillac Place, Anselma House and OneROOF Youth Services
